About the Artist

I make work based on scrimshaw, fossil ivories, architecture, myth, random plant life, and curiosity. My goal is to make unique, timeless jewelry that you will love wearing and share with your friends and family.

A little more about me...

On somewhat of a whim, I began a degree in Jewelry and Metalwork at the University of Georgia, thinking that it would make a fun skill to learn alongside a "real" degree. By the end of the first class, I knew jewelry was in my bones and it couldn't be just a hobby. So, here I am, making jewelry that I can only describe as "eclectic but elegant."

My work is based on the ancient technique of scrimshaw, the innate beauty of fossil ivories, architecture, anthropology, myth, random plant life, and a healthy sense of curiosity. My goal is to make unique, timeless jewelry that you will love wearing and share with your friends and family.

I use a wide variety of gemstones, metals, and materials, and I try to be eco-friendly where I can. I reuse my scrap metals, buy other makers' scraps of fossil ivory (i.e., legal and non-animal-harming) from good sources, and many other things to reduce my footprint.
